Set amongst a tranquil 100 acre Estate of gentle countryside, mature woodlands and historic lakes fed by the River Soar, sits THE SHINY VINE English Wine specialists, perched in display of the charming Leicester Grange manor house & educational vineyards.
Planted across 7 acres of land that has been farmed for centuries, The Shiny Vine specialises in being different, honouring differences and supporting inclusivity and diversity. This forward thinking approach shimmers across the Estate, and is also reflected in the choice of grape varieties grown in the vineyard; one of which The Shiny Vine was the first to plant in England, with high hopes and aspirations.

The Shiny Vine exists to celebrate and educate on the BEST of English wines from the North to South of our country, whilst giving you an opportunity to bask in seasonal beauty and share exceptional experiences. It’s not going to be just about us and our wines, its going to be about us ALL! The Shiny Vine will be here to shine a light and give a voice to the BEST winemakers, grape growers and family run vineyards from the tip to the toe of England…
From intimate tastings and harvest celebrations to exciting local food experiences and live music, there will also be events thoughtfully designed to showcase the UNIQUE character of our beautiful Estate. As your regional hub for showcasing the BEST of English Wine production, we are framed by our own vineyards where you can directly experience all that has gone into that delicious glass of English Wine. Learn how to sip like a pro, appreciate and understand the grapes and wine varietals of England, experience the nuances in winemaking techniques, and be invited to opportunities to hear about the STORIES & TALES behind each grape grower and winemaker, as you relax, unwind and we guide you into the fast growing world of English Wine…

The Shiny Vine Estate
The Shiny Vine vineyard is nestled within a Grange Estate which once formed part of the Coombe Abbey Estate many centuries ago. It is comprised of the charming Grange manor house, The Shiny Vine Vineyards, English Wine Specialists & Local Delicatessen shop, Wine Cellars and Orchard, all framed amongst gentle countryside, ancient woodland and lakes fed by the River Soar.
There are also commercial offices on site, which have been serving the needs of local businesses across Warwickshire and Leicestershire for over 40 years especially given its prime location next to the A5, M69 and M6. With the addition of The Shiny Vine, networking and corporate events has never been more engaging!
Our beautiful English wine specialist shop & vineyards are OPEN NOW specialising in artisan English wine and local nibbles on our Estate at Leicester Grange, led by WSET trained wine experts to help you find the perfect English pour.

It all began with an idea, born out of struggle and nurtured with passion. A dream made a reality, the boutique vineyard was planted in 2021 over 9 acres of land that has been cultivated and nurtured for centuries, and family owned by two generations.
Planted with nine different varieties, whilst the vineyard includes some of the classic “Champagne” varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, The Shiny Vine team chose to specialise in grape varieties known to suit our cool, marginal climate, with disease resistant qualities known as “Piwis” such as ‘Cabernet Blanc’ and ‘Divico’. The Shiny Vine was also excited to be the first vineyard in England to plant the ‘Rinot’ variety which from early tastings has found to create some fantastic, full flavoured wines synonymous with Reisling.
Using disease resistant grape varieties that are capable of producing fantastic, delicious wines, means ‘less intervention’, ‘less chemicals’, ‘less tractor use’, lowering our carbon footprint, and more ‘love, care and attention’ to our soils and the land we are custodians over.

Established in the Grange’s Coach House, our English Wine specialist Shop strives to support all that is great in English wine making, including British local produce, and that produced by The Shiny Vine, artisan crafts and of course tried and tasted British Wines produced by some of the greats, and those lesser known, fantastic, family owned British producers seeking to be heard and supported from across Great Britain.
The Shiny Vine shop space is set in ‘beauty, shine and sparkle’ seeking to merge the ‘old school’ with the ‘new school’ with a desire to promote diversity, flare and inclusivity at its core, whilst ensuring you have been imparted with the knowledge to find your perfect English pour wherever you are.
Set within the same premises are commercial spaces that have been serving Warwickshire and Leicestershire businesses for over 40 years with easy access to the M6, A5 and M69; networking, corporate events and open air team building events have never been so engaging!

One Story
The Shiny Vine is nestled on a charming Grange Estate straddling the borders of Warwickshire and Leicestershire, England. On 150 acres of land that has been farmed for centuries growing everything from nourishing maize to juicy sweet apples and plums, the 7 acre vineyard was planted in May 2021.
Whether you’re a lover of wine or a seeker of peace, we want to share with you a little slice of tranquillity to escape to, help you unwind and remind you that you were born to SHINE!
