UPDATE: We have received numerous emails seeking to join our amazing team in any way possible, and for that we are SO grateful. There have been so many emails however that sometimes emailing everyone back in a timely fashion is proving difficult. The Grange Estate is comprised of the charming Grange manor house, The Shiny Vine Vineyards, Artisan Wine & Farm shop, Wine Cellars and Orchard, all framed amongst gentle countryside, ancient woodland and lakes fed by the River Soar.

There are also commercial offices on site, which have been serving the needs of local businesses across Warwickshire and Leicestershire for over 40 years. Networking has never been more engaging!

These are the roles we have going for 2026 :

  • 2026 - Flexible- 2 -3 days a week- Wine Estate Assistant (i.e. people who love vines/wine and want to get stuck in!)- rain, sun or shine.

    • We are, where we are because of INCREDIBLE, TALENTED, BOLD outsourced teams putting the graft in and supporting our visions. We stand on the shoulders of GIANTS, without a doubt, BUT…this year is the year of growing our IN-HOUSE team, representing OUR ‘The Shiny Vine’ BRAND, supporting our causes, and pushing the collective vision forwards for the benefit of our local community and the incredible, beautiful & committed, increasingly growing team that forms our Brand. You will be trained, supported and encouraged and will form a part of our core ‘The Shiny Vine’ team. You’ll rock our brand, help us grow, tend to our land, wider Estate and Vineyards, and ultimately soar beyond your hopes and expectations. We all have a dream, ours is yours and yours is ours.

    • What to expect: this is a varied role as it’s to support the Wine Estate, working with the current team and overseeing those that we outsource to. As this is land based, it is reasonable to expect that you need to be fit, multi skilled, protective of our investment, enjoy the great outdoors, big sky, hard graft, hopefully love WINE and have enough of a willingness to learn. This is mainly an OUTDOOR role come rain or shine set in a stunning environment.

    • The role will include:

      • tending to grapevines (full training included)

      • Land maintenance e.g mowing, gardening, inc tending to estate flowers

      • Occasional wine event set up help I.e moving tables & chairs

      • Attending to and assisting the Wine Team with harvest help (training included), equipment cleaning, setting up, helping us offload our wines

      • Packing online delivery wine orders ready for collection by our courier

      • Tractor driving (training included)

      • Being present at outdoor family events (flexible), helping us set up and being apart of our growth plans.

      • General Estate support to further the maintenance, improvement and beauty of the estate

      • Most importantly, representing The Shiny Vine brand

      • Routes to more senior roles on the estate such as estate management.

      • Experience can be so varied and so pay is based on this, but we are reasonable- let’s have a chat.

      • You will be CRB checked, supported through your transition to land/wine estate maintenance & directly trained (potentially via external courses paid by TSV) on all things vineyard related so no prior direct vineyard experience is required.

        • Advantageous skills will be - prior vineyard experience, tree surgeon training, tractor and landscaping/gardening/ chainsaw experience and any land estate maintenance qualifications- none however is necessary.

        • Probationary period applies.

        • Pensions, progression to private health care, and various advantageous benefits apply upon progression.

The reality is, most people have never worked on an English vineyard, but many have an aptitude for hard, efficient work, are quick learners, and appreciate being apart of a supportive, growing team that can offer a future in an exciting venture. Grape growing is one of the fastest growing industries in England, there are incredible plans for The Shiny Vine, and we’re keen to support those that support us!
