We can finally confirm it… Harvest is happening Saturday 19 September! 🍇🍷
After all the waiting, watching the grapes ripen and keeping everything crossed for the perfect conditions, we now have our Harvest Day firmly in the diary.
We’d love you to join us for a special day at the vineyard as we bring in this year’s grapes and celebrate one of the most exciting times of the wine-growing year.
Expect plenty of vineyard action, a behind-the-scenes glimpse at harvest, English wine, good food (currently likely a lunchtime pizza buffet by our loyal followers Simply Doughlicious) and a rather special atmosphere as we get the grapes safely into the winery.

Harvest Volunteer Safety Information
Harvest is a hands-on day and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time. Please read the following before taking part.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. The vineyard can be uneven, muddy, wet and slippery, so sturdy, closed-toe footwear is essential. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring waterproofs if rain is forecast.
Take care when moving around the vineyard. There may be uneven ground, slopes, vines, posts, wires, machinery and other trip hazards. Please walk carefully and follow instructions from the vineyard team at all times.
Harvest equipment must be used safely. Only use knives, secateurs or other equipment once you have been shown how to use them. Take care when carrying or passing equipment and never leave sharp tools where someone could accidentally step on them.
Please do not operate machinery or vehicles. Tractors, trailers, presses and other vineyard/winery equipment are for authorised staff only. Keep a safe distance from moving machinery and follow any instructions or restricted-area signs.
Be aware of the weather. Harvesting can involve prolonged periods outside. Keep hydrated, use sun protection where appropriate and take breaks when needed. If conditions become unsafe, follow the instructions of the vineyard team.
Alcohol: Please do not consume alcohol before or during any harvesting activities involving tools, machinery or other potential hazards. Wine tasting/consumption should only take place once harvesting has finished.
Children: No children permitted.
If you are unsure about anything, have an accident, or notice a hazard, please speak to a member of the vineyard team immediately.
By volunteering at harvest, you agree to follow the safety instructions given by the vineyard team and to take reasonable care of your own safety and that of others.
